Labyrinth Garden at the Kränzel Winery

The historic Kränzel Manor in Cermes successfully combines wine, culture, pleasure and art. The labyrinth garden amidst vineyards is a botanical piece of art and great fun for old and young alike.

South Tyrolean alpine and bathing lakes

Charming, refreshing and fun - South Tyrols' alpine and bathing lakes. Embedded in the unique natural landscape you enjoy the best water quality for your family excursion. Felixer Pond or Spronser Lakes are ideal for cooling down high up in the mountains.

Renon cable cars and Renon pyramids

A trip with the Renon cable car is a great adventure and brings guests up to the high-alpine Renon plateau. The romantic trip leads over an enchanting forest and meadows and offers a beautiful view of the mountains. From the end station in Collalbo you can make a short walk to the popular pyramids.

Churburg Castle in Sluderno

Enjoy being a knight or noble woman during your family holidays! Churburg Castle provides an interesting insight into the life in the castle during the 13th century. The largest armoury collection in Europe with fascinating armouries, helmets and swords provides a highlight for children.

South Tyroleam Museum of Archaeology

Bird Care Centre in Tirolo

The daily flight shows on Tyrol Castle hill are an inspiring experience for young and old alike. Twice a day at 11.15 am and 3.15 pm captive-bred falcons, vultures, eagles, buzzards, kites and owls are released to fly above the Merano basin. The centre’s primary role is to nurse injured birds back to health and return them to the wild as soon as possible.

Children will be amazed over and over again. The Archeopark is South Tyrols' first active museum for the whole family based on the life of Ötzi. In this outdoor area visitors can bake bread, try pottery or archery and try Neolithic activities.
