Panorama on the Tappeiner Trail
The famous Tappeiner Trail runs above the town alongside Mediterranean plants and offers fantastic views over Merano. A special photo spot: the historic Powder Tower.
Back to the city along the Passer
The return journey is a leisurely stroll along the promenades beside the River Passer. Numerous small bridges connect both banks and invite you to take a relaxing walk through the green city.
Strolling under the arbours
Small boutiques, Italian fashion and charming shops await you in Merano's historic arcades. Perfect for browsing and enjoying a little dolce vita.
Ice cream & relaxation
A sweet break is a must – for example at Eisdiele Sabine. Afterwards, the green Merano Thermal Park invites you to relax in the middle of the city.

If you still have energy left, take the charming Merano–Dorf Tirol chairlift up to Dorf Tirol. Whether you fancy a round of mini golf or simply want to enjoy the view over the valley, this little excursion is well worth it.

The perfect end to the day is, of course, an aperitif in the afternoon sun – preferably a refreshing Aperol Spritz on one of the many terraces in the old town.
