Gufyland is more than just a flight demonstration: the falconry center also serves as a rescue center for injured and vulnerable birds of prey. During a guided tour, you can observe the animals up close and learn more about their way of life.
Just a short walk
It’s best to park in the large visitor parking lot in Dorf Tirol. From there, continue on foot toward the castle—about 20–25 minutes.
The path leads you uphill toward Tirol Castle, so the walk itself is part of the experience. Once you reach the top, the birds of prey are waiting for you.
When Eagles and Falcons Take Flight
Twice a day, things get really exciting: At 11:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., the birds of prey showcase their impressive flying skills during the flight demonstration.
Sometimes high up in the sky, sometimes right overhead—there’s plenty to marvel at here.
Good to know: Payment for the flight demonstration can only be made in cash.

Gufyland isn’t just the venue for flight demonstrations—it’s also a rehabilitation center for injured and distressed birds of prey. On a guided tour, you can observe the animals up close and learn more about their fascinating world.
