Up into the mountains by gondola
We set off at a leisurely pace in the gondola. As the valley below gradually gets smaller, the excitement grows as we head up. For children, the adventure often begins right here — after all, a gondola ride is never just a means of transport, but an experience in itself.
Once at the top, fresh mountain air, sweeping views and trails that are easily manageable even with younger children await.
A stop for refreshments at the Innere Schwemmalm
After a spot of exercise comes a spot of indulgence.
The Innere Schwemmalm is the perfect place for a cosy break. Rustic, welcoming and exactly what you’d expect from a proper alpine hut.
Kaiserschmarrn, South Tyrolean classics and a spot in the sun — that’s often all you need.
Stress-free walking
The walk towards the Innere Schwemmalm is a pleasant one, with no major inclines. The wide paths make the walk particularly family-friendly — even with a pushchair.
The children’s favourite spot: the little lake
And then usually comes the highlight of the day.
A small lake invites you to play, explore and cool off. Take off your shoes, roll up your trousers and dip your feet in the water.
Whilst the children splash about, throw stones or let little boats float by, adults can simply sit back and enjoy the moment.
